The Art Station is a nonprofit community mental health agency specializing in art therapy. It was founded in 2003 by President and Board Chairman Jane Avila. The Art Station is housed in the restored 1918 Fire Station No. 5 located at Park place and 8th Ave. near Fort Worth’s medical district. Staffed by 4 professional therapists, the Art Station serves hundreds of disadvantaged families and children each year.
