Sustainability
Byrne is a member of both the national U.S. Green Building Council and local USGBC - DFW Regional Organizing Group.
In January of 2003, Byrne implemented an in house LEED continuing education program for all our estimating and operational personnel. This program, maintained by Byrne’s LEED Accredited Professionals, ensures all Byrne personnel are current on LEED information and methodology.
If incorporated properly and early into the Preconstruction Phase, Byrne can significantly reduce any premiums conceived for the inclusion of Sustainable Design Elements into the overall construction project. Based on our recent LEED project knowledge Byrne can provide information relative to design and construction necessary to implement sustainable design and construction for this project.
