New Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation Operations Center Construction Team Celebrates Construction Milestone

Irving, TX - Thos. S. Byrne, Ltd., General Contractor for the new Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation Operations Center located in Irving, Texas, will host a topping out ceremony on Thursday, June 27, 2002. The ceremony will celebrate the raising of the final beam in the construction of Nissan's $25 Million, three-story, 268,000 square foot operations center located in the DFW Freeport Development. The office complex is located on a 15-acre site at the southeast corner of Regent Boulevard and Freeport Parkway within the Irving city limits. The event will begin at 12:00 noon, and lunch will be served to construction crews and representatives from the construction team, architects and owners.

For the building team, a topping out ceremony is a milestone marker reinforcing completion goals and signifying successful teamwork. Champion Partners is the owners representative and developer for Wells Operating Partnership on the construction of this build-to-suit project for Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation. The Staubach Group is the tenant representative for Nissan, and HKS, Inc. is the architect for the design consultant team. The $25 million project is to be completed in the first quarter of 2003.
